Server Solution Specialist

As a Server Solution Specialist (SSP), you will be a member of a specialized team of worldwide sales professionals responsible for delivering the Core Infrastructure Optimization (IO) value proposition around solutions built on Microsoft Windows Server, SQL Server and System Center to Technical Decision Makers (CIOs, IT Managers, IT Professionals) in Southern California.  You will own a quota for the Server products and relationships with key clients. Your job responsibilities include: Drive revenue in existing and new business segments based on Microsoft Server value proposition, Build and manage a sales pipeline for the products in your quota with the platform sales team, Develop understanding of the Server product portfolio and confidently articulate the value they bring in solving business problems, Developing and engaging with partners (either directly or indirectly), Ability to formulate strategic value briefings for customers. 5+ years pre-sales experience and a BS/BA is required, Knowledge of Microsoft’s server products & channel model is critical, along with a keen understanding of consultative solution sales, Strong, proven track record of pre-sales solution selling based on business value principles, Demonstrated ability to develop strong relationships with internal and external team members, Strong objection handling skills, business acumen teamwork, communication and cross-group collaboration skills are critical, Ability to travel throughout Southern California (Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego).
