Service Now Software Developer with (Facilities Management Module)
Location: Eagan, MN

Our client is seeking a "Service Now"  Developer (Facilities Management Module)who will be responsible for providing coding and hands-on implementation in the conversion and integration of "Service Now" Software for our client's Interdepartmental Corporate Facility Event Management Process.  This position will work with IT Infrastructure Project Manager as well as Software vendors in building and integrating Service Now software product using web-based technologies. Service Now is now running zLinux and Web 2.0.  As part of these duties, this position may also be responsible for providing hands-on implementation, coding, and implementing Service Now Product to the client's environment.

REQUIREMENTS:
1. Provides technical expertise in "Service Now" software and design, and implementation of Service Now product for the Corporate Facility Event Management Process.
2. Develops Design Document which can be implemented from the Corporate Event Management Process diagrams.
3. Develops detailed design documents from Corporate Event Management data maps, data dictionary and requirements.
4. Codes Service Now vendor software
5. Modification of Service Now codes
6. Works with customers to analyze current operational procedures, identify problems
7. Accountable for the successful execution of all Service Now development activities.
8. Ensures quality of software solutions by performing necessary unit and integration testing.
9. Fix errors and coding during End user acceptance testing with Service Now during implementation 

REQUIRED SKILLS:
o Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience in computer field
o The consultant should have worked in Service Now implementation at least one or two years
o Strong technical knowledge of mainframe, client/server, or web-based environments; zLinunx and Web 2.0
o Candidate should have good attitude with "CAN DO" attitude with customers

DESIRED SKILLS:
Java development (5+ year minimum), JSP and HTML development, Javascript, XML, Stored procedure development, Servlet development,.

Experience with App Servers/Web Servers (Weblogic experience a plus),  Relational database technology (Oracle), Object Oriented lifecycles development, Configuration management technologies (i.e. Clearcase, Harvest, etc.), Project Management software (i.e. MS Project)
