SharePoint Server 2007 Administrator

Hi All,

Our Client is looking for a Senior Level Consultant who will provide expert technical support, administration and consulting for Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 (MOSS 2007), and other related technologies.

 

Estimated Period of Performance:  Six (6) months

Work Location: Olympia, WA

 

Mandatory Experience and Qualifications:

Four years of information technology experience such as consulting, analyzing, designing, programming, installing and/or maintaining computer software applications, hardware, telecommunications, or network infrastructure equipment, directing projects, providing customer or technical support in information technology, or administering or supervising staff who performs work in any of these information technology disciplines.

 

Highly Desirable Experience and Qualifications:

· 3-5 years experience with SharePoint administration/configuration and support.

· 3-5 years experience with administering Microsoft Internet Information Services.

· 3-5 years experience with supporting Microsoft .NET based applications.

· 2-4 years experience with administering Microsoft SQL Server 2005.

· Project management experience, including managing resources, timelines and communications to see project through from inception to timely completion and maintenance.

· Experience with implementation of complex, mission-critical applications.

· Experience with administration and support of complex enterprise applications.

· Ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple priorities.

· Ability to communicate technical requirements with team members and to translate these into business options for management presentation.

· Ability to respond to inquiries in a timely, courteous and professional manner.

· Experience managing internal and external membership directories, specifically Active Directory, LDAP, and ADAM.

· Experience installing and configuring Windows Server 2003, SQL 2005 and MOSS 2007.

· Experience performing server side troubleshooting, migrations, upgrades, and applying patches.

· Experience with the application development lifecycle migration from test, development, quality assurance, preproduction and production environments.

· Bachelor's degree preferred with emphasis in computer science, or related field.

 

Additional Desired Experience and Qualifications:

· Familiarity with DIS’ infrastructure and core services.

· Knowledge of the state’s standards and guidelines.
