Support includes diagnosing technical issues, ordering parts, performing repairs, and shipping hardware to be repaired.Supported servers include but are not limited to AFP, FTP, FileMaker, Apache, PHP, MySQL, Open Directory, NetBoot and Retrospect.Support and maintain site AV, and satellite equipment during site events.Conduct New Employee Training / New Employee Orientation training as needed.Occasionally requires availability beyond normal business hours and responding to a duty pager.  Assist in site and group events/projects as needed.  Occasionally works with Network Engineers to troubleshoot lower level network related problems or assist in evening and weekend cutovers.BA/BS degree or equivalent preferred; minimum of 5 years related experience with 2 years on Mac OS. • Expert knowledge of Mac OS X & Mac OS X Server required.• Experience with administration tools such as ARD, Workgroup Manager, etc. strongly desired • Familiarity with TCP/IP and wireless networking, strongly desired • Familiarity with Unix, Shell Scripting, Windows desired • Web Admin a plus • Experience with Video Switchers, Audio Amplifiers, LCD Projectors a plus • Experience with conducting training classes a plus • Self-motivated: ability to recognize issues, prioritize and respond appropriately • Strong organizational skills: ability to organize, manage and complete multiple projects of varying lengths • Flexibility in the face of shifting priorities in a highly dynamic environment • Extremely strong teamwork ethic and customer support focus • Excellent verbal and written communications skills • Maintain diplomatic relationships with a wide variety of individuals and groups • Ability to explain technical concepts in non-technical language Perk #56: New ways to stretch your mind.
