Due to major growth, we are currently recruiting for an energetic and ambitious Software Development Lead/Software Architect that has an interest in providing technical leadership including management, design, architecture and development. Define new architectures and designs as most appropriate for each platform 2.) Perform technical leadership duties, including mentoring others and facilitating presentations with internal/external customers 3.) Lead effective technical brainstorming sessions 4.) Deliver technical documentation 5.) Participate in the software technical review and release process 6.) Provide accurate estimates for project deliverables 7.) Work closely with all team members in both local and remote office locationsMust Have Skills: 1.) 10+ years experience of advanced Embedded/Systems Software development & design; 5+ years of experience in an architect role, where you have demonstrated not only your technical skills, but your leadership and mentoring ability.2.) Must have expert programming skills in C (crucial) and C++ (not as crucial) and other languages. Must have strong Linux programming skills.3.) 5+ years experience developing software for devices (ideally mobile devices) and/or embedded systems. Must have strong working knowledge with one of the following: Windows Mobile, Symbian, WinCE, Embedded Linux, MacOS, and/or other device operating systems. 4.) Bachelors in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent. Master's degree is a plus.Nice to Have Skills: 1.) Good knowledge of networking, including Layers 2 and 3 protocols; TCP/IP; 802.11 is helpful2.) Knowledge of network security, SSL/TLS and PKI preferred. 3.)
