Aon Consulting has been entrusted to search for a Software Architect with Python programming experience for their client company, a construction management software company. This three year old business is experiencing phenomenal growth and is a pioneer in online construction payment management providing a broad base of innovative capabilities that automate the entire construction payment process. Their services facilitate communication, automate document creation, provide online document exchange, and enable direct electronic payment.  These services dramatically help general contractors, subcontractors, owners, developers and lenders effectively manage cash flow and risk while reducing costs. 

You will use your analytical skills and code level trouble-shooting abilities to focus on architecture, design, development and unit testing of new features and feature extensions, while tackling a range of complex software and systems issues including monitoring, responding, and safeguarding our solution.

Responsibilities: 

· Well-rounded technical skill set, and experience developing complex, high volume business systems.

· Systems development experience.

· Web application programming in Python.

· Application development using Linux, Apache, Webware, SQLObject, Reportlab, and J2EE technologies.

· Database programming with PostgreSQL, and/or Oracle.

· Web services and enterprise application integration experience.

· Business process focused systems experience.

· Performance analysis and improvement

RequirementsBA/BS in CS or equivalent experience. Minimum of two to five years of software development experience, using formal development methods. Experience developing robust, secure, scalable, high volume, commercial-grade web applications. Financial and business workflow development experience.
