The Software Architect will be responsible for the technical design and implementation of the company’s software products.  The Architect will provide architectural and technical direction to department managers, mentor developers, and collaborate with project managers, business analysts, etc. 

Software Architect Skills and Duties:Design application functionality and data structures and the integration with other data sources and destinations. Resolve technical issues related to application modification and/or product functionality. Ensure that all components of the technical architecture are properly integrated and implemented. Define the development tools and development environment. Provides technical direction, guidance and support for architectural development that encompasses multiple technology disciplines, platforms and applications.  Facilitates creation of architectural blueprints as documentation of design and systems integration.  Ensures projects are designed within approved enterprise architectural standards and are implemented successfully. Provides direction and mentoring for less experienced staff. Experience in the quality assurance review of software development artifacts and in the evaluation of new or existing software products Experience in creating logical and physical data models and apply them to presentation materials if required. Be able to set application development standards and methodologies.  Be able to support existing business system applications as well as design and implement appropriate technical solutions for business needs often integrating third-party solutions.  Be able to identify and satisfy non-functional system requirements such as security, transactional integrity, reliability, availability and agility.  Be able to identify risks and issues related to software design, development and implementation and drive risk mitigation.  Translate system requirements into technical architectures and designs. Assist in the creation of functional use-cases. Configure and develop standard application modules, provide functional technical expertise of development tools, implementation methodology and/or related technology, and assist in the design and development of user interface functionality and the implementation of workflow rules.

Requirements:Strong history of web development and design  4+ years experience with PHP, JavaScript, and MySQL Notepad level coding experience 3+ years experience in a Linux/UNIX environment. 10+ of experience across multiple technology disciplines 4 + years prior project architect and/or team lead experience Prefer Bachelor or Masters degree in Computer Science or related field.
