HITCSM61362 Software Consultant (2 openings) Responsibilities: Works closely with business units to gather requirements from both internal and external customers, develops reports and creates cubes where applicable, to provide the desired data analysis capabilities.  The Software Consultant works with clients to educate them on how to use tools to run their own reports, queries and analyze data. Actively responds to the needs of internal development and external customers. Prepares detailed functional specifications. Drives the requirement analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation phases of projects. Responsible for data extracts, transformation, loading and data cleansing for the data warehouse. Manages metadata. Presents accurate data to both internal and external customers. Works with clients to ensure a smooth implementation.   Qualifications: Knowledge of MS Business Intelligence tools including: SQL Server 2005, Management and BI Development Studio; Visual Studio 2005 – SSRS, SSIS, SSAS, etc. Ability to develop complex stored procedures that can handle large data sets, including the use of recursive queries. The ability to handle stressful situations with a positive attitude. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Highly focused on customer satisfaction.  Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines. Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
