Software Design Engineer - Sustaining Engineer

As part of the short release team you will resolve product issues to improve robustness and increase customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will be highly proficient in troubleshooting Unix and networking problems, as well as be versed in programming in C.Requirements: - BS or MS in computer science or a related field - Experience in C programming - A quick learner - Strong analytical skills - Willingness and ability to work in a fast-moving, dynamic, team-oriented environment - IP networking Must have at least one of the following: - Unix System Administrator experience - Network Administrator experience - Database Administrator experience - Storage Administrator experience Nice to haves: - HPUX or AIX experience - Good knowledge of Windows Command Line tools or Windows OS internals © 2007 Hewlett-Packard Development Company, L.P.
