Description

Leads complex / major efforts regarding the requirements analysis, design, development, and testing of computer programs and / or application components.
Strong ability to analyze functional needs that drive the analysis and technical design of quality technical solutions
Recommends solutions that are aligned with business / IT strategies and complies with corporate architectural standards.
Serves as subject matter expert (SME) in assigned area.
Resolves complex application and technical problems.
May serve as departmental liaison to interdepartmental or interdivisional project initiatives.
Analyzes complex performance and capacity issues with systems / applications software
and/or application components.
Maintains knowledge of emerging technologies.
Provides mentoring and training to more junior staff.
Handles complex operational tasks and recommends processing and technology changes.
Leads evaluations of systems / applications software technologies.
May lead project teams.
Strong ability to work collaboratively with IT staff on development, troubleshooting, and other technical efforts.
Performs software architecture and systems design.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration or other related field.
Knowledge of investment and insurance company products and operations, cost accounting operations, regulatory/GAAP accounting considered a plus.
Longview LVTS Experience a must.
