Software Developer Senior

Annual sales are in excess of $3.8 billion. This position is part of our Marketing Services Group in the Database Engineering Group.   Responsibilities: Responsible for managing a project through the SDLC including evaluating customer requirements, designing components, system architecture, development, testing and productionalization. It includes bridging the gap between various organizations and Technology Services. Additionally maybe responsible for creating and refining processes and/or acting as an individual contributor on processes such as technical analysis, data processing, problem resolution and management of resources.  5+ years related computer and technical experience, with DB2 (or other relational databases), Unix & C/C++ Emphasis on change management, databases, data processing, application and/or system design. Must be able to interpret requirements and determine solution. Knowledge of XML a plus. Direct Marketing experience a huge plus. Team Player with a strong appetite to learn new subjects and tools. Must be detail oriented and possess strong process and analytical skills with a consultative approach. Some travel will be required (up to 10%).
