Has demonstrated capabilities in leading and mentoring others in the development of industry leading solutions to meet company objectives. Utilizes their skills and broad experience or unique knowledge to contribute to the development of company objectives, principles and the immediate goals of the company in a creative and cost effective manner. Uses skills as a seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of industry practices and company policies and procedures; resolves a wide range of issues in creative and practical ways. Acts as a resource and a technical leader among management and peers. Helps set coding and design standards. Has a comprehensive understanding of industry best practices for integrating and leveraging third-party solutions. Participates in and leads technical design and code reviews. This job typically will play a lead role on projects that are of high to difficult complexity. Supervises technical deliverables of engineers under their lead.  Takes direction from Management and Architects regarding functional implementation. Qualifications:  Requires a Computer Science/related technical degree. Minimum 8 years professional working experience. MCSD and other industry standard certification is a plus. Computer science concepts, data structures, algorithms and architecture. Strong Front End development skills expertise in HTML, JavaScript, AJAX and CSS. Java, Perl, VB, C#, C++, OR VB.Net. SQL, ADO, ODBC, JDBC, OLEDB, COM/EJB/J2EE, .NET, XML/XSLT, Web Services, SOAP. Distributed, Internet-based computing architectures and technologies addressing scalability, reliability, and redundancy (Message Queues, Transactions, Error Management, Caching, Load Balancing, etc.) Relevant system platforms such as Windows Servers, Unix/Solaris, IIS, Apache, Web Logic, ATG Dynamo. UML, Visio, and other Technical Documentation tools and methodologies. Domain expertise in two or more of the following: ASP, VBScript, ASP.NET, XML/XSLT, JSP, J2EE and/or JHTML.
