Software Engineer – C++, C

 

STS International (STS), a leading systems engineering and integration company, is creating a new Software Engineering position in our Falls Church, VA office.  This position will support the development of physical security and force protection systems, as well as an emergency medical simulator training product.This position requires technical passion and a drive to engineer software solutions based upon client requirements.

 

Primary Roles and Responsibilities will include: Developing and modifying existing C++ and C code, developing test applications and assisting with application and system testing.  Work will include developing and testing sensor fusion systems and applications and preparing documentation as needed. 

 

Minimum Experience: Interested candidates should have a minimum of 1+ year of professional programming experience with C/C++ (four years of experience is required if you do not possess a Bachelor’s degree).  Experience should include working with current technologies and various operating systems and programming languages.

 

Some travel (up to 25%) may be required.

 

Minimum Education:  Bachelors degree from an accredited university with a major in computer science, information systems, engineering or a mathematics-intensive discipline.
