Software Engineer / Developer

Position Title: Software Engineer/Developer (multiple levels)

 

About the Position:

My client's company is in need of a talented, passionate, and motivated software engineers/developers who want to make a difference by applying leading edge technologies (Oracle 10 and 11, C#.NET, Java, web services, and AJAX) to accelerate drug testing and monitoring.  We are hiring for a number of positions and looking for a variety of skills sets and languages. 

 

Responsibilities:

As an engineer in the R&D organization you would be contributing to how top-tier drugs and medical products are developed and monitored around the world. You would enjoy the challenge of working on new and existing internet-based products that reduce the time to bring new life-saving drugs to market.

 

You would be making meaningful contributions to all phases of a project development throughout the development cycle, including:

 

-  Feature planning and collaboration with Product Management and Design Teams

-  Architectural research and design

-  Implementation

-  Development of specs and unit tests.

Education and Experience Required:

-  B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent

-  Passionate about delivering the best possible user experience

-  Driven by quality with a strong drive to collaborate as a team to ensure development of a high quality, easy-to-use product

-  Excellent verbal and communication skills

-  Experience building internet-based commercial applications

-  Source control experience

-  Object oriented design

 

Experience in one or more of the following is a plus:

-  VS2005, C#, NET 2.0, Java, Web Services,

-  Windows Communication Framework (WSE or WCF 3.0), and / or

-  Experience with major databases (Oracle preferred)

-  Localization/internationalization experience
