Software Engineer-Electrical and Mechanical Systems

High tech applied research firm in Torrance, CA has an immediate opening for a Software Engineer with a solid degree in EE, ME or Aero; interdisciplinary skills; and a strong interest in software development. BS or MS with at least 3 years experience. Advanced math skills essential. The ideal candidate would be proficient in or familiar with any or all of the following: object-oriented system design; C++, or C#; MATLAB; real time software and system integration; digital signal processing; analog-digital interfaces; control system design, integration, and test; instrumentation and data acquisition; and graphic user interfaces. Software applications are primarily advanced automotive, and include vehicle systems, driving simulators, simulation of dynamic systems, special test devices, and vehicle instrumentation and testing.
