 Summary Description: Software Engineer II:  The SOftware Engineer II will be responsible for the ongoing development, enhancement, and maintenance of the C++ and Java programs used in providing the Market Data Feed to internal and external customers.  Position Responsibilities: 1. Develops new feed handler programs from the interface specifications provided by the sources of the Market Feed.
2. Develops software that runs on the Linux operating system
3. Writes and debugs multi-threaded, multi-tasking, high throughput software Candidates must have the following qualifications: 1. Bachelors degree in Computer Science or IT related field or related experience
2. 2 - 7 years solid experience in C++ and Java
3. Experience developing server or embedded applications
4. Experience developing applications that run on the Linux operating system, debugging these applications using pstack and gdb
5. Experience developing applications for real time or high performance throughput systems
6. 2 - 7 years of experience
7. Must be familiar with modern software design methodologies
8. Familiar with Windows development tools Additional qualifications preferred but not required:
Masters degree preferred, but not required
