Software Engineer

 

Airline Intelligence Systems is looking for a highly talented senior Software Engineer to develop and deliver a product that will have a monstrous industry impact.  Software Engineers will help design and deliver core components of the product suite by assuming responsibility key elements and participating in all phases of the software lifecycle.  This position is a strong individual contributor within a team but allows for a high level of ownership, autonomy and technical contribution.  This position reports to the Director of Software Development.

 

Responsibilities:

 

· Design, develop, test and deploy industry transforming software.

 

Qualifications:

 

· Multiple years commercial Software Engineer / Software Developer experience delivering high performance and scalable software products solutions for enterprise environments.

· Strong object oriented development experience in a commercial development environment.

· C# / .NET and Visual Studio 2005 (ASP.net) Microsoft Windows development environment experience preferred but experience with C++ or Java Linux/Unix is acceptable given a solid Computer Science and Mathematics foundation.

· Demonstrated experience developing server-side applications in a high-performance transactional environment.

· Experience working with SQL in a high-performance database environment.

· Understanding of core concepts and best practices for implementing web-facing solutions in an n-tiered environment with database and transactional back-end.

· EDI or other transaction protocol interface experience desirable

· Experience developing software in an Iterative Agile environment a definite bonus.
