Software Engineer / Intern

Everstream provides enterprise-level data collection, reporting, analytics, and business intelligence solutions for the world's largest broadband service providers. Our focus is to enable actionable insights on their video, data, and voice offerings that result in increased revenue, reduced cost, and expanded opportunity for each and every operator, content provider, and advertiser that comes in contact with our products.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist with Everstream's software engneering and QA projects as required.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Write effective and reusable use cases, test cases and test plans
- Ability to analyze and report results of completed tests
- Experienced in determining baseline testing requirements and metrics in a performance testing environment
- Strong understanding of networking environments to support load and stress testing
- Strong understanding of positive and negative testing scenarios in a performance testing environment
- Strong understanding of the SDLC (software development life cycle)
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently
- Functional testing of applications
- Ability to write customized scripts to perform automated processes in an Unix / Linux test environment using shell scripting
- Basic automation testing experience with third part testing tools

EDUCATION:
Computer Science or equivalent major.
