About the Position:

 

Excellent Opportunity for Junior to Mid level developer who will work in a mixed position providing QA support as well as development specializing in Java J2EE technologies and/or HTML/JSP technologies to join a team in the design and development of customized components to support our cross industry product line.

 


Principal Responsibilities:

 Will work with customers to clarify and define requirements for custom feature requests. Write high-quality code and related documentation, perform unit testing and participate in design and code-review process. Assist the other team members in supporting the application in QA and Development environments. Coordinate and contribute in the team's software development process. Author Unit test and integration test plansWork with other developers to author use cases.Interact with business users and understand the application to author test plansPerform application testing using manual or automated approachSupport production issues (projects delivered to customer)

Required Skills and Education:

 Must have a strong understanding of Object-Oriented technology and good command of the Java language with 3+ years of Object Oriented software development experience. Minimum of BSCS, or related area. Around 2+ years of experience working with the J2EE technologies. Experience working with web technologies like Java Script, JSP, Applet, Servlets and Struts. Proven experience in web-based applications, preferably using JBoss or Weblogic.Proven experience with Security related integration, preferably using Siteminder, or Tivoli a plus.  Experience with RDBMS preferably with Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle required. Self-starter with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Experience in performance tuning, load testing, deployments and QA preferred. Understanding of and experience with full software development lifecycle including functional & technical specification, documentation, QA processes, source control, maintenance and deployments. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Prior Experience to support and fix java code is a big plus
