OneShield is looking for a Java J2EE professional who can help with the application development in the middle-tier area. Individual will be responsible mainly for development and maintenance of the middle tier components. Ours is a J2EE application utilizing a variety of J2EE features such as EJBs, Servlets, and JSPs.

The ideal candidate will have solid experience in analysis, design and development of software applications using J2EE/Oracle. This individual must have a solid understanding of Java Programming language and leading software development methodologies such as OO, UML.

 

A successful candidate in this role will have:7+  years of overall software development experienceGood understanding of leading software development methodologies (UML, OO)Solid understanding of J2EE and some knowledge of OracleAbility to evaluate, interpret, and develop technical designs  Experience with JSP, Servlets, Web Services, XML, JDBC, EJB, Swing, HTML, DHTML and JavaScriptSolid Java programming skillsExperience in the design and implementation of EnterpriseDistributed SystemsExperience with WebSphere, Weblogic, or JBOSSExperience with Oracle PL/SQL is a plusEfficient time management skillsAbility to understand others code Provide consistent on-time delivery of high quality solutionsStrong communication, critical thinking and problem solving skills required

Experience with Legacy System Integration is a plus

 

Education:  Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or Engineering required. Masters degree a plus.
