Software Engineer / Software Developer

General Summary:

Software Developer with 5+ years of professional experience will report to Manager of Software Development

Position Requirements:

· Very strong knowledge in C# under Windows, with a Visual C++ background

Ø  MS Visual Studio 2003 and 2005 required

Ø  MFC (Microsoft Foundation Classes) and STL (Standard Template Library) required

Ø  .NET 1.1 and 2.0 required. Please note: ASP.NET experience not considered.

Ø  WinForms

· Strong Plus - knowledge of SQL, data design and relational concepts; experience with Relational Database Systems – MS SQL Server preferred

· Experience with client/server architectures, multi-threaded applications, IP based sockets (TCP and UDP), XML concepts and usage, required

· Very strong technical background

· Proficient in object-oriented design, data analysis and system architecture and the associated documentation

· Excellent Oral and written communication skills

· Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident

Additional Information: (major pluses)

· .Net Framework 3.5

· SNMP, network management

· DoD/DHS project experience
