Non Functional Testing 60%

- Designs, monitors, and participates in activities related to all testing activities associated with Lumension products.

-Designs non functional test cases, functiona test case automation.

-Works with a cross functional Sprint team as part of a SCRUM SDLS (an Agile variant) lending non-functional expertise to that team

-Defect Generation

-Work with Developers, Support and QA team members to troubleshoot complex issues

-Execute and complete other tasks as assigned.

Functional Testing 40%

-Writes and executes test cases as required by the Sprint Team.

 

Required Skills:

Experience in generating non-functional test cases to work with higher level code (Java, C#, etc.)

XML scripting, nUnit Testing

Family with the architecture behind the Windows Family of Operating systems

Effective oral and written communication skills

Defect tracking database knowledge

Knowledge of basic network engineer concept and infrastructure – TCP/IP, routers, firewalls, FTP, HTTP, load balancers, and proxies.

Understand software security and Patch concept.

Experience with Ghost and VM Ware

 

Required Experience:

2-5 years experience in software quality assurance field.

Familiarity with standard software testing and QA methodologies.

Ability to learn complex subjects with minimal guidance.

Excellent troubleshooting skills.

Ability to create and maintain non functional Test Case/Scripts.
