Software Engineers

Progressive high-tech military contractor has two (2) openings for mid-level Software Engineers to support development and integration for mobile weather information systems for the United States Air Force and Army. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

*  Development and maintenance of software modules;

*  Assisting with software builds and tests, and system administration;

*  Some software modules will be for integration into meteorological solutions;

*  Positions may assume lead roles and require occasional travel.

 

Hours / Days / Schedule:

8 a.m. - 5 p.m., Mon. - Fri.

 

Job Requirements:

* Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or related discipline.

* Experience with C/C++, C#, Java, VB-Net and shell scripting on Windows server systems.

* Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.  Selected applicants are subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

* US Citizen is required

* Possess a valid WA State Driver's license and a good driving record (driving record abstract will be checked) are required.

* Pass pre-employment drug-screening, and criminal background, credit  & references checks are required.

* Must have reliable telephone.

* Experience developing web services and web based applications.

 

Salary / Benefits:

$60,000 - $65,000 / year, DOE/DOQ + benefits (medical, dental; life, STD, LTD, AD&D; 401(k); paid holidays & vacation leave; tuition reimbursement).
