Software Engineers, CAD

This is a unique opportunity to build a next generation mechanical CAD product with a team that has repeatedly proven itself in the industry. Located in Concord, MA, SpaceClaim is looking for several software engineers at varying levels of experience to join our team.

 

As a software engineer, your responsibility will be to design and implement 3D geometric algorithms and the associated user interface for our product; to design and implement algorithms for rendering and working with large data sets of 3d objects; and to design and implement solutions to create elegant and attractive 3d product documentation.

 

Requirements:

 Knowledge of 3D geometry and vector algebra Exceptional analytic and problem-solving skills3+ years of professional software development experience is a plus Experience with C# or other object-oriented languages Experience working for CAD companies is a plus Degree in math, physics, computer science, or engineering An advanced degree is a plus  Ability to function in a team environment with an appreciation of aggressive goals  Familiarity 3D Computer Graphics is preferred, especially knowledge of DirectX as well as experience with implementation of TrueType, PostScript or other desktop publishing and font rendering technologiesEnergy, creativity, and a desire to win
