Software Implementation Specialist

For more than 30 years, companies have relied on CORPTAX software to help integrate and automate tax department processes, eliminate manual and redundant tasks, enhance data accuracy and quality, and dramatically improve planning and analysis capabilities.

 

Responsibilities:

Installation of CORPTAX products; provide telephone support, trouble-shooting and diagnosis for all CORPTAX systems and related software installed by CORPTAX during the implementation process.

Work with clients and internal departments to successfully complete the project of implementing a new or upgraded CORPTAX system.

Ensure adherence to project timelines. Use project management tools to manage the client implementation project.

Maintain a basic level of knowledge of current applications with detailed knowledge regarding setups and preparations involved in transitioning form one application to another.

Actively participate in project meetings to discuss issues and offer recommended solutions based upon best practices. Provide proactive follow-up with customers’ prior/during/post project. Notify supervisor about any critical issues that arise.

Track and monitor implementation activities using internal automation tools. Maintain clear concise notes in the customer management system, providing all details of each customer communication.

Out of town travel is required.  Approximately 50%-70% travel

Must understand position function and how it relates to all other functional areas.

Must develop working knowledge of all processes within the department; demonstrates an ability to troubleshoot a wide range of problem situations, work consistently and maintain a high level of activity.

Must have personal initiative and the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.

 

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Systems; or a Certification from a top technical institute

Certification:

 

none required, MCSE preferred

Experience:

Related internship experience OR 3+ years of experience working in the software industry or financial markets, CRM, SAP, or other complex application background preferred.

Must have the ability to understand the business and technical needs of the client as well as troubleshoot or resolve client issues in a stand-alone or group environment Ability to train clients and give product demonstrations Liaise with product teams regarding forthcoming enhancements Reviewing and testing enhancements to applications to ensure it meet the needs of our clients Excellent written and verbal skills a must.

PLUS:  SQL; understanding of the relational database model and understanding of the software development lifecycle.
