Software Pre-Sales Engineer/ Technical Consultant

ISIS is a market-leading International Software House, celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, with a great product offering implementing the Papyrus Document System as a total integrated solution for inbound and outbound business documents in large corporate enterprises. Established in Europe you will be joining a team of 20 in Southlake/Dallas Texas who are part of a much larger group.

Responsibilities:
The position of pre-sales consultant is responsible to supply the technical back up for the sale of our Papyrus Document System software. In this role the pre-sales consultant will conduct software sale demonstrations both over the web and in person to potential clients in the corporate market. As part of the sales process the pre-sales consultant will respond to the technical portion of Requests for Proposal from prospective customers. The overall goal is to help sell our software solutions.  


A secondary responsibility of this person will be to provide technical support and leadership to customers and project teams during implementation and rollout. This role will be responsible for the technical installation and integration of products into customer's environment. Incumbent is required to become thoroughly familiar with our client's needs and operations and will work with the project teams to successfully complete the implementation process. Must be knowledgeable of all company product offerings and be able to consult with customers based on their business needs. Provide feedback to and contribute to design and system analysis. Data mining, data analysis, simulation and reporting within sales `proof of concepts' phases will also be required.

 


Specific Skills required:

 

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related studies.

· 5+ years Information Technology experience.

· 3+ years of pre-sales experience, ability to perform demonstrations, proof of concept.

· strong understanding of system architecture a plus

· Team player with strong interpersonal skill and ability to complete tasks with minimum supervision

· Understanding programming logic and object orientation

· Experience in working with large corporate organizations

· Ability to create detailed and well written answers to RFIs and RFPs.

· Ability to provide expert quality training and consulting

· knowledge of IBM Mainframe systems, UNIX and Windows environments

• Must be able to function within a team environment, and must be willing to work in a multi-cultural environment.

• Excellent interpersonal, communications and client presentation skills.

• Knowledge of software engineering practices.

• Knowledge of database concepts

• Strong analytical skills

• Experience with database administration is a plus

• SQL Reporting knowledge is a plus

• No Relocation Provided

• Willingness to travel to client locations nationwide (up to 50%)
