Job Title: Software Product Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Description:
As a Product QA Engineer, you shall create and execute test cases from system-level requirements, and perform test automation using appropriate test tools/scripts. Your primary areas of focus would be Installability, Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, Performance, Sizing and Capacity of Platform and Applications.
Responsibilities:
• Debugging and troubleshooting hardware/software issues, working directly with Software Development Engineers.
• Troubleshooting, debugging, and reporting software defects using Rational ClearQuest® defect-tracking tools.
• Actively participate in requirement and design reviews.
• Setup test-beds, design and execute tests
• Assist in unit, integration, and regression tests
• Develop test automation scripts/tools
Job Requirements:
Bachelors degree of Engineering in Computer Science, Electronics or Electrical Engineering
• 2+ years hands-on working experience with UNIX and Oracle
• Must be Self driven, highly motivated, be able to work in a very dynamic, goal oriented multiple and concurrent challenging project environments. Must have excellent planning, verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
· Working level knowledge required with SQLPlus, PL/SQL, Software test methodologies and test tools, and protocol analyzers .
