Position Description

Kyran Research Associates, Inc. is a Software Development company located in Rhode Island.  The company was founded in 1980, specializing in the development of custom software for licensing, case management, workflow and financial applications for federal, state and municipal organizations.  Kyran uses proven systems analysis and programming techniques to support the full spectrum of development activities, concept definition through implementation and operational support.

We develop and deliver web-based applications that employ cutting-edge techniques for our customers and we're looking for a senior-level developer who enjoys being challenged to join our team.

 

If you have 3 or more years of Java experience in a web environment and a can-do attitude, we definitely should talk. To become a part of our team you'll need to have an in-depth understanding of Internet applications and J2EE/JSP/Struts technology in particular. Knowledge of EJB's is a definite plus.

 

We work with many popular application platforms including WebLogic, Sun, Oracle, and Tomcat. Experience with either MS SQL Server or Oracle databases is also required.  Experience with the ASP.NET framework is a nice-to-have, but is not a requirement.
