Software QA Engineer

Position Description:

We are seeking a highly talented and motivated quality assurance Engineer to test products for our market space. The candidate will be responsible for developing detailed test plans covering the various aspects of testing the company software. You will carry out testing as outlined in the test plan. In addition, you will work with developers to ensure testability of the software and develop software test automation tools. Most of the testing and automation will focus on the File Systems Connector software that runs on various platforms such as Linux and Windows. Qualifications:

1. Knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP & DHCP2. Coding experience using: UNIX shell, Perl, Expect, GNU, batch, C, Python and/or CGI 3. Highly motivated, organized and possesses a keen analytical and structured approach to problem solving and testing 4. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision 5. Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent 6. Working experience as a Windows and/or network admin a plus7. Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS is a plus8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
