Summary:

As a member of a project team, contribute to the delivery of a high-quality product through the development and execution of product test plans and the technical review of user documentation.

Responsibilities:Performs technical testing on components of software projects Designs and implements updates to existing test plans Executes assigned test suites and reports results Works closely with development engineers to identify and resolve all issues identified thru the test process Review all user-level documentation for technical accuracy Install and maintain all necessary test hardware and software Maintains a technical understanding of product suite May take guidance from more senior QA Engineers May be indirectly involved in customer calls on an as needed basis

Education and Experience Requirements:Minimum of BSEE or BSCS and 0-2 years relevant QA engineering experience

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:Must possess base knowledge of all areas of software testing Must also possess the proven ability to understand technically complex issues and work with other team members in a collaborative fashion Requires working technical knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems, Java client and/or server side programming, Java, C, C++ language skills Test automation tools such as Loadrunner and Etester, as well as test methodologies
