Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Strategic Analysis is seeking an individual to satisfy a requirement for a Software Quality Assurance Engineer. In this position, you will perform quality assurance functions and software development and integration testing in support of our federal clients.  It is of paramount importance to exceed our client expectations with high integrity and focused attention to milestones. In addition to working well in a team, as a successful candidate you will incorporate the following:

Requirements:Minimum 2-4 years of experience with .Net and JavaB.A. or B.S. degree in an Information Technology field Strong oral and written communication skills Must have a working knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, and structure software development processes Ability to use experience and judgment to define and track quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts Experience with configuration management practices and tools, and automated software testing tools A certain degree of creativity and latitude is a mustEmployment is contingent on the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance (including U.S. citizenship). Active U.S. SECRET clearance preferred.

Responsibilities:

As a Software Quality Assurance Engineer, you will participate in quality reviews on all software prior to delivery, test application software, tracks test results and checks software configuration. Additionally, you will utilize processes and software that ensure the quality, reliability, and system safety and security along with methods, procedures, and metrics needed to ensure that quality standards and practices are attained. You will assist users in setting-up and executing user acceptance test cases, document set-up and administer a library of requisite test cases for applications, and reports results to the development team.
