Software Quality Assurance Manager

Skyway software is looking for a quality assurance manager to lead a distributed team of quality assurance engineers.  The ideal candidate would have proven management skills and would be familiar with automated testing, quality assurance concepts, software development concepts and the Eclipse IDE.  The QA manager is a hands-on individual contributor also capable of directing the activities of a small team of onshore and offshore resources in order to produce high quality, thoroughly tested software releases. 

Required Skills:

Experience in a management or leadership role
5 + years experience performing hands-on software testing
Strong understanding of quality assurance and software development concepts
Capable of organizing a quality assurance team to maximize functional testing coverage and provide visibility into testing status at all times.
Familiar with automated testing
Capable of working on an agile team with short and frequent releases.
 

Preferred Skills:

Experience using Instantiations Window Tester automated testing tool
Experienced in software development
Experience managing offshore resources
