Software Quality Assurance Supervisor

An innovative software development facility located in Ann Arbor is looking for a Software Quality Assurance Lead to supervise quality assurance on their suite of software products.  The company offers a great team environment, great Ann Arbor Location, and an excellent benefits package. Job Responsibilities:  Manage QA Engineering staff and activities Oversee Co-op program coordination and employees Assist QA staff and co-ops with testing issues Work with a team and develop functional specifications and test plans Help define and update software quality assurance strategies and procedures Design the test plan and cases using specifications Test software using the testing environment and automated tools in use by the development team Work closely with technical support to help solve customer issues Maintain a good working relationship with other software engineers and QA engineers Job Qualifications:  BS in Engineering or Computer Science with 5+ years of experience testing software Must be experienced with Windows platform development environment and tool sets running on Windows Must have experience leading projects and interest in managing the efforts of other engineers Excellent written and oral communication skills Must be able to work within a team atmosphere and culture Must be able to define the QA strategies for a project and lead a team on a project Must understand and practice good software quality assurance disciplines and methodologies A positive “step-up� attitude is essential with highly developed organizational skills required Ability to perform in a fast paced, multi-tasking work environment A creative mind and approach to problem solving Willing to weigh the risks and benefits of various approaches to problem solving Please make sure to include the Job ID in the subject line of your email to ensure that your resume is properly routed.  Regrettably, due to the high volume of responses received, not all candidates expressing interest will be contacted.
