We are currently seeking a Software Quality Engineer II to aid the software development organization in evaluating and maintaining software quality. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: With no supervision, conduct testing of assigned software, using manual and automated scripted cases, techniques and methods to ensure software meets internal and external requirements. Update existing manual and automated test cases and scripts to adapt to changing software environments. Develop new manual and automated test cases and scripts to test new features and emerging technology from software design documentation and functional, technical and regulatory requirements. Evaluate and report potential defects. Evaluate and report software fitness to management. Prepare release documentation to existing requirements. Investigate regulatory and field issues and assist Compliance personnel with regulatory questions. Identify internal causes of problems using detailed engineering analysis Provide detailed low-level data and analysis of defects to developers for quick resolution Develop new tools and analytical methods to increase efficiency in quality assurance processes Qualification Requirements 2 years or more of experience in software quality assurance/testing or gaming technician experienceProficient with MS Word and MS Excel Highly developed formal and informal written and oral communication skills Self-motivation, persistance and a meticulous work ethic Experience in quality assurance in the gaming industry preferred Knowledgeable in test terminology; proficient with manual test techniques and methods Familiarity with C++, C#, .NET, IP, Visual Basic, Ruby or other programming / scripting languages desired Familiar with Linux workstations / operating system Bachelor’s or Master's degree in computer science or related field and/or software test certification is desirable Bally offers a generous benefits package that includes Group Medical, Prescription, Dental, and Vision Insurance; Company Provided Group Travel Accident Insurance, Basic Life and ADD Insurance, Optional and Family Life policies, Company Provided Short-Term and Long- Term Disability Benefits, Expatriate Benefits, 401(k) with a match, 529 College Savings Plan, Flexible Spending Accounts, Management Incentive Plans, and Educational Reimbursement up to $5,000 per year!
