Fortify Software is seeking experienced developers to deliver software security services for Fortify’s enterprise customers. The role will include installing and customizing Fortify’s application security products, assisting clients with source code analysis using Fortify SCA, managing runtime protection using Fortify Defender, and delivering product training.  Positions are available in San Mateo and New York City, Boston or Washington D.C.

Responsibilities

 Assess and scope customer requirements for application security needsInstall and configure Fortify application security productsScan customer source code, audit results with development and/or security teams and offer plans for remediation of vulnerabilitiesProduce source code audit reports for customersDeliver product training to customers and partnersCustomize the implementation of Fortify’s production and test productsContribute to the Fortify Knowledge Base and Best PracticesInterface with Product Management and Engineering to enhance productsExtensive travel required, as most work is conducted at the customer site

 

Qualifications

 5+ years experience in the area of real world software development and build environments; Java/J2EE, MS .NET, Unix C/C++5+ years experience in a role of software application or development tool consulting to enterprise clients Experience in the Enterprise Security space, especially application security is a plusExcellent oral and written communication skills Excellent analytical skills Ability to succeed in team-based and autonomous environmentsCISSP, CISA, CPP MCP/MCSE and SANS certifications a plus Multi-platform experience strongly desiredBachelor's Degree required
