Teres Solutions, Inc., a software company based in Austin, Texas, is seeking an entry level Software Support Analyst.  We are the leading provider of web-based loan origination solutions for over 150 credit unions and banks nationwide, from Miami to Anchorage.  We’ve almost doubled in size every year since our inception in May of 2002.  We are looking for someone who is highly motivated, a self-starter, and possess the drive and enthusiasm to make a tangible difference in growing our company.  Our software is built using the latest Microsoft technologies including C#, ASP.NET, and SQL Server.  We are recognized as a Microsoft certified partner with accredited core competencies. 


Job Purpose:  The Level 1 Software Support Analyst will serve as a technical resource for Teres Solutions and will provide customer support, product testing, and other essential job functions.

 

Key Responsibilities:Provide technical support to Teres customers via telephone, email, and other electronic communications. Analyze problems and develop solutions to meet customer needs. Follow team-specific guidelines for product group engagement to ensure timely resolution of customer issues. Write technical articles and sample programs for Teres' knowledge base.

 

Skills/Knowledge: 1 – 3 years technical support experienceClear thinker with excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skillsExceptional customer service skills Strong problem-solving/troubleshooting skills Ability to manage customers Working knowledge of computer operating systems Effective multi-tasking/organizational skills Must be able to work autonomously and well with team Excellent work ethic

 

Preferred: Software support experience Knowledge of the Microsoft Windows platforms, including the registry, Microsoft SQL 2000/2005, IIS 5.0/6.0, Microsoft.Net and Windows file system structure and troubleshooting MCSE or equivalent BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar discipline is preferred, though comparable knowledge and proof of learning ability, through job experience, is also acceptable.Financial/lending industry background
