Software Support Specialist

Paragon Application Systems, the leading global provider of electronic payment (ePayment) system test software, is currently seeking Software Support Engineers.  Selected engineers will join a team of similarly skilled professionals to continue Paragon’s commitment to providing a high level of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

· Manage customer expectations

· Find imaginative solutions to unique challenges

· Patch VB6, Java and/or .NET source code

· Facilitate patch and release roll outs

· Recommend product improvements

· Identify resell opportunities

 

Qualifications

· Previous client facing experience required

· Associates degree in Computer Programming

· Previous programming experience

· Familiarity with Windows Desktop and Server OS

 

Skills

· Strong client management skills

· Familiarity with any of the following technologies:

o VB6

o .NET

o Java

· High level understanding of relational databases

· Source code management best practices with knowledge of CVS and subversion a plus
