Online Marketing Software Engineer

 

Job Summary:

 

The Online Marketing Software Engineer is responsible for participating in a team of Software Engineers with accountability as well as an expectation to deliver against stated client goals and objectives. 

 

Day to day responsibilities primarily involve:

· Support of Unreal Marketing internal systems and products, as well as external client support.

· Provide support in determining factors affecting client’s website behavior, user and visitor conversion and retention rates along with close monitoring to detect changes in established trends.

· Should be able to take on system development for Marketing Technology systems, and provide system design, coding, testing and deployment of products and applications as a secondary job responsibility.

 

Core Duties/Responsibilities:

 Take ownership of providing reliable, accurate and responsive support and development services with one or more of our online marketing systems.  Provide quality support services to internal and external clients.Excellent client communication skills are a must for the position.Attention to Detail in a fast paced environment is a must.

 

Requirements:

 Strong web development experience with knowledge of PHP, MySQL, Apache based environments required.Knowledge of Javascript and HTML required.Attention to Detail is required.Experience with user tracking and analytics packages is preferred.A demonstrated enthusiasm to learn and work with cutting edge technology and tools is required.Strong written and verbal communication skills required. Ideal candidate should be a strong team player, be able to multitask independently, and a fast learner, for a similarly dynamic environment.
