Solution Development Manager

The Solution Development Manager (SDM) is responsible for Software and designated Professional Services revenue generation in collaboration with the Production Printing Division’s Regional Management and Sales teams. Based on a foundation of pro-activeness, professionalism and always supported by Océ’s core values, the SDM will utilize a "Consultative Sales Approach" by focusing on Demand Creation, Opportunity Assessment, Solution Development, and Proposal Development. This position may report to one of multiple Northeast Oce offices. Drive software products and designated professional services sales to existing and potential customers Utilize the Océ Solution Delivery Process as the documentation tool to craft customer solutions, utilizing Océ’s software products and services Conduct customer presentations and software product demonstrations Confirming unique value proposition and ROI on Océ’s software solutions Collaborate with account executives and Systems & Solution Engineer’s in creating effective proposals, with emphasis on software and professional services product components Develop marketing strategies and training programs on Océ’s software products and professional services for account executives Ensure a correct and timely engagement of other TSS groups (i.e. Field Operations, Headquarters Support and Project Office) needed to successfully deliver a solution Achieve assigned quota and specific position objectives 4-year degree in Business, Marketing or Technology related field 3 to 5 years of experience in a Technical Sales role with Production and Departmental Printing industry Strong understanding of the Document Composition industry, competitors and products as it relates to the TransPromo discipline Strong understanding of output management/archiving workflows in the Transactional and On Demand printing environments Strong affinity with technology, being able to understand and translate complex technology requirements into tangible business benefits Proven track record of exceeding million dollar quotas Able to exhibit initiative and self-starting behavior Experience in establishing and developing account relationships with C-level decision makers and influencers Team Player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills Excellent training, product demonstrations and presentation skills Excellent written skills revolving around Océ’s Solution Delivery Process Willingness to travel within geographically assigned territory Océ is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer encouraging workforce diversity (M/F/D/V).
