This position will be responsible for Production Management. The new Production Management role brings together process, funtionality and competencies that are currently distributed across many

different roles. 

 

The main areas of focus are:  Production stability Release coordination Business continuity planning (BCP), Disaster Recovery Coordination Production growth planning & coordination Inventory gaps and facilitate implementation of standard process and tools in managing the production environment 

Other essential duties include but are not limited to: Develops infrastructure, application or information architecture specifications to build or support the development of IT architecture and resolves IT architecture problems through identification, assessment and resolution of changes and upgrades to be made. Identifies, researches and pilots new technologies. Responsible for the development and construction of architectural components. Creates the construction of architecture components. Defines architecture standards and anticipate areas where architecture standards may need to be developed that are in-line with customer, IT and industry standards. Assists in the definition of business and IT recovery operating environment. Monitors usage of architectural components and assumes responsibility for reuse. Monitors service requirements, components capacities and loads. Conducts feasibility studies to determine how an application should conform to the current and target architecture blueprint. Maintains the security architecture design and monitors compliance with policies and procedures. Designs and is accountable for SLAs/OLAs with internal and external organizations. Directs projects to identify enterprise level technology and architectural standards, guidelines, principles, frameworks, and reference models. Works with business units to translate business strategy into discrete requirements compatible with current technical architectures. Identifies technical and architectural areas of opportunity for improvement. Pro-actively defines and designs technical and architectural proposals to improve enterprise architectures and supporting technologies. Evaluates and selects from existing and emerging technologies the options that best fit business and IT strategic needs. Presents analysis and recommendations to senior leadership on emerging technologies. Defines systems, technical and application architectures for new strategic initiatives. Develop and maintain an architectural blueprint and evolutionary roadmap that defines and communicates the strategic direction for these architectures in support of business and technical strategies. Contributes technical expertise to enterprise programs and projects. Evangelizes architecture and technical strategies, and influences project and program direction towards enterprise technology standards and architectures. Performs other duties as assigned. BA/BS degree in computer or information science discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience. Five years experience in information technology including three years experience in architecture/design or an equivalent background. Four years experience in health care industry preferred.
