Our Corporate office is currently searching for an experienced RPG Analyst/Developer to support our Island Pacific Software System.  The applicant must be able to take a project from the design stage through development, testing, and implementation.



Responsibilities include:

·  Partner with functional users to design and develop tools to improve their business processes.  This includes understanding the current processes in order to recommend new applications and enhancements for improvements.

·  Provide technical support to resolve application problems.

·  Support users in all areas of the business, including Merchandising, Finance, Warehouse, and Stores.

·  Create reports and downloads using SQL/400 to assist users with various analytical needs.

·  Document program specifications for new and existing programs.



Qualifications include:

·  Minimum 5 years experience with RPGIII/IV/ILE and CL

·  Experience with SQL, DBU, and Hawkeye

·  Experience with the Island Pacific Software Systems (also formerly know as SVI systems)

·  Excellent analytical abilities and problem solving skills

·  Strong time management with ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities

·  Ability to occasionally work weekends and evenings to handle emergencies

· Experience with JavaScript, HTML, Crystal Reports and EDI is a plus!
