Sr. Accountant

SpeechCycle, Inc., a Deloitte & Touche Fast 50 technology company, is searching for a Senior Accountant for our NYC headquarters.  This position will work on accounting and analysis projects and is an ideal position for the right person who desires to advance quickly as part of the finance team working in a friendly and collaborative environment.


Duties will include: Monthly closing

·         Financial statement preparation,

·         External audit work,

·         Internal reporting

·         GL reporting package setup,

·         Dash-boarding and metrics analysis

Compensation: Salary consulate with experience up to $80,000

Qualifications:BS in Accounting or Finance3 to 7 years experience in a medium to large company environment or in public accounting, Participating in monthly closing process as a significant contributor,Desire to advance to Asst. Controller and beyond,Strong excel skills a must,Good analytical skills Experience with mid-to-upper level GL packages similar to Great plans/ MS Dynamics, MAS90, Oracle, etc. a plus
