Sr. Business Analyst (Payer, Healthcare)

Job Description: Seeking an individual that is experienced in writing business requirements and can provide business process analysis, design analysis, needs analysis and functional analysis for the Constituent Application Design Group. Business requirements would center on existing web products, any new web projects, and any new web initiatives in order to propose solutions or modifications/enhancements. Primary focus will be to develop business requirements and functional specifications for more complex product enhancements. Additionally, the business analyst must be able to articulate, formulate and define issues and issue resolution and assist with business requirements and communicate project status. The position will require limited/light traveling during the year. Applicant should be self-motivated to assist in addressing and closing requirement design initiatives/projects. Growing responsibilities will eventually include ability to conduct product demonstrations, product development management, support of product implementations, analysis of issues, team player in problem solving, and assisting in business requirements. Requires excellent communication skills, and provides a positive team player attitude with the ability to interface with all varied levels of employment. Experience in a Health Plan or with health care payer systems is a must. o 3+ years of health plan/healthcare payer industry knowledge o Bachelor’s degree or higher strongly preferred o Ability to write requirements o Must have relational database experience (SQLserver, Sybase, or Oracle) and be able to execute queries o Limited web development knowledge/experience a plus o Prior customer service experience required. o Problem-solving skills and creativity. o Ability to work with multiple groups, product managers, and developers. o Ability to quickly learn new business areas/functions We recognize that our employees are our greatest assets and want each one to have a long, successful career at TriZetto.
