Sr. Director, Program Management, Professional Services

Senior Program Director with proven management expertise, strong communication, facilitation and mediation skills, strong financial management background and supply chain industry experience. Seeking the talent that can develop the structure while being an on-the-go leader. This position will be expected to work with senior management setting strategy or defining the next steps in a project, then work with detailed engineering personnel to explain the project, and if necessary, address a specific problem with detailed involvement using problem resolution and technical skill.





 

-The position must have the technical background and experience required to interact directly with strong technical engineers and technical management.

-Provide program management expertise and leadership in the execution of complex professional services application and infrastructure projects
-Promote the implementation of program/project management principles, processes and artifacts as it relates to project execution in a worldwide operational environment
-Drive appropriate organizational change and team mentoring as required to ensure the successful program/project execution
-Ensure the necessary training and education of personnel in project management methodologies

- This position is responsible for ensuring the adoption and execution of project/program management best practices (project mgmt., resource mgmt., quality mgmt., risk mgmt., etc.) within the Professional Services organization as well as overseeing and executing the program/project management of medium and large project initiatives.
- This position must have excellent communications skills in being able to listen, influence and build consensus. It is expected that this position will possess the maturity and experience to lead through education, mentoring and proper organizational change approaches.





 

-at least 15 years of program management experience in a global environment
-at least 7 years application development and or integration experience; must have worked across the systems development life cycle and technology layers.-managed multiple complex international program engagements
-managed teams up to 100 in size in multiple locations
-managed complex fix price projects by deliverable based project specific to software development and implementations; must have experience and a leadership perspective on establishing and constantly improving upon a global delivery model for professional services projects.

-strong understanding and application of quality and risk management principles
-has worked on two or more ERP project implementations specific to SAP or JD Edwards
-Experience working with Partners in an integrated global implementation environment
-PMP certification highly desired
