Sr. Director of Hosting Services Electronic Arts, headquartered in Redwood Shores, California, is the world’s leading interactive entertainment software company.  Founded in 1982, the company develops, publishes, and distributes interactive software worldwide for video game systems, personal computers, cellular handsets, and the Internet.  Electronic Arts markets its products under four brand names:  EA SPORTS, EA, EA SPORTS BIG, and POGO.  In fiscal 2007, EA posted revenue of $3.09 billion and had 24 titles that sold more than one million copies.  We seek qualified applicants for the following position based in our Redwood Shores headquarters: Senior Director of Hosting Services The Senior Director of Hosting Services is a key member of the Global IT Leadership Team.  As a member of the Leadership Team, this leader contributes to setting strategy and objectives for IT. As leader of hosting services, this position is responsible for managing hardened data center facilities, server and storage hosting infrastructure to support EA's core business systems, product development, online gaming environments and customer facing web presence. This position will drive definition and execution of hosting strategies that provide EA highly reliable, flexible and cost effective hosting services. EA's environment is highly distributed and dynamic. This position will work closely with internal sponsors and external service providers. The position requires the ability to balance multiple stakeholder needs while maintaining an enterprise-wide view. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:- Develop a strategic hosting services plan that serves as multi-year roadmap for architecture and investment decisions in facilities, server, storage and related services.- Drive the development and management of IT service roadmaps, project estimates, resource plans, departmental budgets and operational processes for function- Ensure alignment with business objectives and Enterprise Business Systems roadmap - Integrate with roadmaps and architectures of other domains- Drive organizational excellence throughout the hosting services function- Lead a global team responsible for hosting services in a matrix model that includes solid and dotted-line reports- Build a high performing team through staff development, recruiting and retention that can support EA's growing business needs- Develop leadership and technical skills within the organization and via partnerships (outsourcing/offshoring)- Establish and improve operations and performance management- Ensure monitoring, measuring and reporting of service performance against Service Level Objectives, customer satisfaction and financial efficiencies with services- Ensure appropriate systems and service continuity plans are defined, in place and exercised regularly. - Identify and prioritize risk and opportunity areas within function for appropriate action.- Partner with IT teams, EA sponsors and strategic suppliers to deliver end to end solutions.- Manage strategic partner/supplier relationships to ensure maximum leverage for EA.JOB QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIRED SKILLS:- Demonstrated leadership skills with ability to work effectively at executive levels- Proven ability to develop architecture and provide design oversight that incorporates high availability, operations supportability and scalability to a high volume, rapidly growing world class IT organization- Ability to work comfortably in highly varying levels of abstraction across business strategy,  product strategy, high level technical design, detailed technical design and implementation - Director level experience in highly complex IT infrastructure environment with responsibility for similar job functions- Experience in applying best practices to improve quality and cost of IT services- Bachelors in business/technology required; Masters preferred  If you are interested in applying for this position, please click on the link below or go to www.jobs.ea.com:   http://jobs.ea.com/pljb/ElectronicArts/United_States/applicant/jobClick.jsp?count=1&id=7565
