The position requires a strong leader with a passion for web & other video solutions and for providing excellent customer implementation support. Day-to-day functions include direction of a team responsible for implementing video solutions, integrating with back end systems, and providing on-going customer support services & tools.Responsibilities & Requirements1. Managing day-to-day customer relationships and project services, for media companies, independent producers as well as internal Real customers.2. Developing and managing a diverse technical team of Flash/web developers, project managers, and system integration engineers.3. Experience in latest web video technologies and web back end systems such as advertising servers, media management systems, Flash/HTML tools and web reporting/analytic solutions.4. Team player, able to work with/develop relationships with cross-functional teams, multi-discipline internal resources and outsourced resources5. Collaborate with business development and marketing resources and perform technical pre-sales presentations and solution selling to all potential customers.6. Implement standard processes, methodologies and best practices to support customer deployments of video solutions.QualificationsThe successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:• Overall relevant career experience at least 12 -15 years.• 8 - 10 years of managing technical web development/operations staff and client services teams.• In-depth knowledge of HTML, Flash, Javascript, Actionscript, HTML/web development tools, media encoders, web servers, advertising servers, content management systems, media workflow systems, and related back end systems.• Experience working with teams of Flash/web developers, project managers, back-end specialists, and customer technical teams.• Ability to build out customer support web sites and customer support tools with documentations, demos, sample code, developer forums, etc.• A proven history of mentoring, motivating, and professionally developing client services teams. • Knowledge of digital rights management technology and media industry business rules.• Can do attitude with a high level of individual initiative, self motivation and enthusiasm.• Strong problem solving and communication skills; able to deliver under pressure and adapt to changing business requirements.• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.Essential Functions: % of Time1.
