Focus is on Other Cost of Goods Sold, Operating Expense, Headcount and Capital for the company worldwide. Specific responsibilities include- Development of worldwide Operating Expense and OCOGS quarterly and plan targets that consider both organizational and corporate objectives.- Analysis and risk assessment of worldwide forecast submissions and actual monthly results for OCOGS and Operating Expense. Define significant variances of actual spending to forecast and target / plan comparisons through proactive communications with the functional Finance Organizations.- Completion of quarterly management reporting commentaries on year-over-year and sequential changes in OCOGS, Operating Expense and Headcount.- Consolidation, analysis and reporting of worldwide headcount forecasts and assessment of headcount fluctuations by organization and function. - Responsible for validating monthly headcount data within the BW system and working with HR, IS&T and worldwide finance managers to define and resolve any reporting discrepancies.- Provide monthly system generated reporting of actual Headcount and Open Requisitions.- Consolidation, analysis and reporting of worldwide Capital plan / forecasts and assessment of risks and opportunities by organization.- Drive continuous improvement in reporting methods and processes to supply WWFP&A and Executive management with the tools needed to evaluate spending levels against management goals.- Frequent ad hoc analysis and Excel workbook modeling.Requires college degree and 6+ years experience, proficiency with Excel, familiarity of enterprise systems and concepts of expense management. Strong oral and written communication skills and proactive analytical and problem solving skills are required. High degree of accuracy, attention to detail, high level of motivation and initiative, ability to see the big picture, effectively elicit cooperation from other groups, flexibility, and ability to deal with ambiguity are other key traits for success in this position.
