  Sr. HRIS Analyst - 7970 NAVTEQ is the leading provider of digital map data for Vehicle Navigation, Internet & Wireless applications and Enterprise Solutions. Cutting edge applications such as these are part of a growing set of applications that enhance consumer's access to information while they are mobile. We have coined the term ‘informed mobility' to represent this emerging need.  NAVTEQ data is used in virtually all of the leading navigation systems in both North America and Europe. Our customers rely on NAVTEQ digital map information for use in their applications based on its accuracy, detail and completeness. We are currently looking for a Sr. HRIS Analyst – 7970 in Chicago, IL. Position Description: This Sr. HRIS Analyst will be responsible for managing the HR reporting requirements and providing support for data analytics associated with the management and development of human resource strategy.  In this role the senior analyst will provide support, guidance and technical expertise to human resource professionals and other internal customers on HR and Finance system data.  This person will work with the HR management team to identify appropriate metrics reporting that is necessary to address human resource issues. Responsibilities: • Work with Human Resource and Finance professionals to develop key HR metrics• Develop/Modify Access and Excel based tools to report on metrics • Conducts workforce analysis (retention, compensation, headcount, employee activity, business unit, etc.) using available HRIS data• Package metrics/analysis into presentations and reports for high level management• Prepare monthly headcount reporting package• Continually evaluates and updates current practices and methods for reporting and analyzing human capital data • Produce reports for Affirmative Action Planning• Conducts broad-based workforce analysis using available HRIS data• Assist in the integration of newly acquired employee’s data• Assist in the development, implementation and support of domestic and international Human Resource Information System - PeopleSoft • Update budgeting system with staffing changes to align with HR data• Assist with planning and tracking for large scale employee meetings • Support and execute unit test plans as new modules are implemented• Work with PeopleSoft Technical team to prepare test data, execute system tests, and take action to solve system problems• Create and generate ad hoc HR related reports and data analysis Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Human Resources, Finance or related field• 3+ years experience in HRIS • Advanced Excel, PeopleSoft, Access, query/reporting technical skills• Capable of producing ad-hoc work with quick turn-around and high degree of accuracy• Statistical analysis including headcount reporting, staffing metrics, statutory/regulatory reporting and employee surveys• Understanding of key HR programs including recruitment, compensation, budgets• Proven experience with the nature and flow of the business and application to the analysis• Emphasis on interpersonal, oral/written communication and presentation skills with ability to communicate technical information in non-technical terms• Familiarity with PC hardware and software skills, various LAN/WAN environments, SQL Server and database experience preferred  To submit a resume for immediate consideration, qualified applicants may e-mail resumes to careers-corp4@navteq.com and reference requisition number 7970. NAVTEQ is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer M/F/D/V   JOB TITLE: Sr. HRIS Analyst - Growing Technology Company COMPANY: NAVTEQ LOCATION: Chicago, IL 60606 STATUS: Full Time, Employee JOB CATEGORY: Human Resources RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE: 2+ to 5 Years CAREER LEVEL: Experienced (Non-Manager) EDUCATION LEVEL: Bachelor's Degree EMAIL: Apply by Email REFERENCE CODE: 7970
