Sr. IT Auditor

Thomas Jefferson University is currently accepting resumes for the position of Sr. IT Auditor. In this position, the successful candidate will perform Information Technology audits of the University and Jefferson University Physicians accounting, financial, and operational systems under the direction of the Director of Internal Audit. IT reviews and New System Development Reviews are of moderate to complex, and work is independent, or team-oriented, depending on the nature.


Additional duties will include:Performing and planning, fieldwork. Reporting and follow-up phases of assigned audits with limited. supervision in accordance with departmental and professional standards. Assisting financial audit teams on business process audits by evaluating the application controls of systems that support the business process under review. Developing computer assisted audit techniques to facilitate the testing of controls.

To qualify:Bachelor's in Accounting or Information Technology; CISA  or CIA preferred. 4 to 8 years of IT / Audit experience, with at least 2 in supervisory. Prior healthcare or academia exposure desired. PeopleSoft or Oracle experience. Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently.
