This position requires a strong ability to understand business rule requirements and capacity to interact with business analysts in the design, development and deployment of BRE based solutions to meet business and technology needs. This position also requires experience in designing and developing core service components and Web applications using Java and J2EE technologies.

· Design initial rule groupings/classifications based on business requirements

· Design and develop business object models

· Refine/fine tune rule requirements and code rules into rules repository

· Unit test the business rules

· Create reusable rules templates for Rules Maintenance Application

· Coordinates business rules maintenance/release management across multiple environments

· Design and develop data, message and system interface services using Java/J2EE

· Design and develop UI components hosted in WebLogic Server using JSP and AJAX

· Create and analyze UML artifacts which document software system

· Develop and consume Web Services and implement in a WebLogic Server container

· Design and develop interface components to messaging systems on TIBCO EMS platform

· Provide production support(if needed) related to the business rules application

· Work with Rules Architect in rules repository design & development and to integrate BRE with other systemsREQUIRED SKILLS

· Minimum of 7 years of total IT experience

· Minimum of 3years experience with Blaze (or ILog), Drools (JBoss Rules)

· Minimum of 5 years of Java/J2EE experience with BEA WebLogic Server 8x or later

· Minimum of 4 years experience in programming for message oriented systems

· Strong OO modeling and Java/J2EE programming experience

· Experience with Spring, JSP, XML, and HTML, Struts and AJAX

· Experience with popular open-source tools and toolkits such as Eclipse, JUnit, Log4J, Struts, Axis, and Ant

· Blaze Fundamentals training from Fair Isaac is a plus. Practical Blaze experience required, in addition to training

· Must be familiar with BREs and BRMS development life cycle as well as full SDLC, iterative methodologies and test-driven development

· Must be proficient with Rules design, Object, data and process modeling

· Must be proficient with object, data and process modeling

· Must communicate effectively both orally and in writing with internal and external customers

· Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent

· Must communicate effectively both orally and in writing with internal and external customers DESIRED SKILLS

· Experience with expert systems and other forward-chaining technologies
